Dr. Mohit Singh is a double board-certified Psychiatrist with extensive expertise in mental health and addiction medicine. He earned his Medical Doctorate (MD) and completed his residency at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Singh further honed his skills with a Forensic Psychiatry fellowship at Yale University and an Addiction Medicine fellowship at the British Columbia Center on Substance Use.

Dr. Singh has significant experience in assessing, evaluating, and treating mental health and substance use disorders across outpatient and hospital settings. His dedication to patient- centered care and evidence-based practices ensures comprehensive treatment for individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health challenges at Brick House Recovery Centre.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Singh has held leadership roles within provincial health organizations, contributing to systemic improvements in addiction and mental health care. He is passionate about education and serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Alberta andthe Associate Program Director for the Addiction Medicine Fellowship program. Dr. Singh’s contributions have been recognized with numerous accolades, including Edify Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 Award (2021), as well as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada National Award for Early-Career Leadership in Professional Practice/Patient Care (2023).
