Charlotte Emerick

Therapist, MSW

I support adults and youth navigating mental health and substance use challenges, including anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, and concerns around self-esteem.

I take a recovery-oriented, harm reduction approach, meeting you where you’re at, without judgment, and respecting your autonomy and choices. Whether your goal is reducing use, building stability, or exploring change, we’ll work together in a way that feels realistic and meaningful to you.

Experiences such as trauma, grief, self-harm, developmental challenges, or substance use, can disrupt routines, relationships, and your sense of self. You may notice patterns like impulsivity, difficulty managing triggers, or feelings of shame that keep you feeling stuck. In our work together, we can gently explore these patterns, build awareness, and develop strategies to support regulation, coping, and safer decision-making.

Life transitions, such as relocating, starting a new role, parenting, or changes in relationships, can add stress and impact coping, routines, and substance use patterns.

Whether you’re in crisis, working toward recovery, or simply not feeling like yourself, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to reflect and process. Together, we can strengthen your belief in your ability to make changes, rebuild routines and relationships, and move toward a life that aligns with your values.
