Bob Fisher is a Certified Recovery Coach Professional with lived recovery experience and more than 37 years of leadership, management, and coaching expertise. Based in the Edmonton area, he supports clients at Brick House Recovery Centre as they build practical, sustainable recovery that works in everyday life.
He holds credentials as a Certified Recovery Coach Professional (Recovery Coach Academy Canada, 2026), Trauma and Violence-Informed Care (Recovery Alberta, 2026), and is a trained SMART Recovery Facilitator and SMART Recovery Family & Friends Facilitator. Bob previously served as the inaugural President and Executive Board Chair of SMART Recovery Canada, helping guide the organization into a national charity. He also holds Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.), Certified in Management (C.I.M.), and Certified Manager (CM) designations.
In June 2026, Bob facilitated a three-part national workshop series for Recovery Coach Academy Canada on behaviour change, managing cravings and setbacks, and building a sustainable life in recovery. On June 4, 2026, he marked six years in personal recovery.
At Brick House Recovery Centre, Bob brings a calm, practical, non-judgmental approach focused on accountability, goal-setting, routine-building, and forward momentum. He works alongside the clinical team to help individuals and families transition from treatment into lasting recovery—strengthening motivation, navigating barriers, and rebuilding routines, relationships, and purpose.
