We offer one-time comprehensive in-person and virtual psychiatric consultations for individuals experiencing mental health concerns, substance use disorders, or both. These evaluations are designed to provide a comprehensive assessment and clinical recommendations to support you and your referring provider in creating the best possible care plan.

Who Can Access This Service?
You do not need to be enrolled in other Brick House programs to access psychiatric care. We welcome standalone psychiatric clients who are looking for support, diagnosis, or medication advice.
Psychiatric consultations at Brick House Recovery Centre are available by referral only. We accept referrals from:
Family physicians
Psychiatrists
Registered psychologists
Nurse Practitioners
We do not offer ongoing psychiatric care or medication management. This is a consultation service designed to assist with diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and care planning.
Psychiatric consultations are billed directly to the provincial insured services plan, with no private charges to patients.
What to Expect from the Consultation
- A respectful, one-time psychiatric assessment
- Review of mental health history, current symptoms, and relevant background
- Recommendations for treatment, therapy, or medication (if appropriate)
- A written report shared with the referring provider
