Madison Johnston
Provisional Psychologist
Addiction Counsellor
Madison’s work is grounded in a deep understanding of trauma, addiction, and the ways shame can show up in everyday life. She supports individuals navigating sobriety, processing past wounds, and managing emotional overwhelm in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space that fosters authentic healing.
Her approach is collaborative and individualized, meeting clients where they are to uncover the roots of their pain, explore patterns that no longer serve them, and develop practical strategies to regulate the nervous system and reclaim a sense of self. Madison is formally trained in EMDR, Clinical Hypnosis, DBT, CBT, and Somatic Therapy, all evidence-based modalities that support lasting change.
Therapy can be heavy, but it can also be empowering. She brings warmth, curiosity, and even a bit of humor into the work when it feels right, because healing doesn’t have to be cold or clinical to be effective.
