Puneet is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in developing and operating addiction and mental health focused healthcare services. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Medicine from Memorial University of Newfoundland, blending clinical expertise, research insight, and strategic business leadership.
Over his career, Puneet has successfully identified care gaps and transformed them into opportunities for innovation. He has led the development and expansion of addiction and mental health programs, implemented digital automation to improve access and efficiency, and introduced patient-centered models that address complex needs across Alberta.
Dedicated to advancing knowledge, Puneet has authored and co-authored multiple peer reviewed publications in international scientific journals, contributing to research in pharmacology, nephrology, and healthcare outcomes. His academic and clinical foundation informs his evidence based approach to designing sustainable health solutions.
Puneet’s commitment to leadership and transformation is further demonstrated through his completion of the National Health Fellows Program at McMaster University’s Health Leadership Academy, an elite initiative preparing leaders to drive large scale health system change.
